Don’t Watch Me Dancing - Little Joy - Little Joy
I put this record on rhapsody yesterday on an email tip. And I’ve not been able to listen to anything since. This song reminds me of the velvets and the moldy peaches which is quite a compliment. The record is short and sweet and reminds me of Ry Cooder’s Paradise and Lunch and David Lindley’s El Rayo Ex, which is also a huge compliment. Little Joy is the brainchild of The Strokes’ drummer Fabrizio Moretti and his girlfriend Blinky. It’s brillant.
